I've seen a couple of sites updated - but could this be the last ever one, let alone this decade? I read somewhere a while ago that Google were planning on removing it from the toolbar entirely because it was misleading and generally inaccurate.

I still check page rank anyway, and hope they don't remove it; but it does seem to be less of a ranking factor nowadays.

I've seen PR update on a few websites. I think Google updates PR approximately every 3 months, so it was expected to be updated at the end of the year.
