Nice read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing some research on that. And he just bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thank you for lunch!

I agree that striking a happy medium between personal and professional is key, but it can be very hard to do! You don't want to end up on tweetingtoohard! You also don't want to be ignored because people think you're a spam bot either!

@Tedel - I agree with the spam aspect, unfortunately it is a large part of Twitter. I think from the recent votes on this poll we can see that using Twitter in a professional manner while staying 'human' can be advantageous in getting new followers.

@SEO Singapore - There are a thousand (and more) reasons to use Twitter, but I'm not gonna waste my time listing them all. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it can definitely be a great marketing tool for a business, or simply just a normal website.

I hate Twitter, stop talking about it. Why must I (micro) blogging at a domain that belongs to another? :)

Most people use Twitter to spam in a so-called "friendly" way. I'm not using it much at the moment and I haven't really got any benefit from it. What could I be doing wrong?
